FAQ
Why didn't my agent answer from its sources?
Check Data sources — if a website or file is still "processing", it isn't indexed yet. Also check the retrieval trace on the reply in Playground: if every candidate chunk scored below the similarity threshold, the agent correctly said it didn't know rather than guessing.
What's the difference between Actions and Procedures?
An Action is a single real tool call (create a ticket, hit an API). A Procedure is a multi-step playbook that tells the agent which Actions to use, and in what order, for a specific situation.
Do I need my own API keys for Stripe, Shopify, Calendly, etc.?
Yes — Zetra never stores or proxies a shared credential for third-party services. Each action you configure for these uses your own account's key, entered directly in that action's setup.
Why do some integrations say "Coming soon"?
Some (Messenger, Instagram, Salesforce live chat) require a registered developer app with the provider that can't be created on your behalf. Where a real workaround exists, it's named directly — e.g. Calendly and Stripe both have working Actions templates today, even though they don't have a dedicated OAuth panel under Integrations.
Is there a native iOS or Android SDK?
Not yet. The iOS and Android channel pages are an honest guide to calling the real REST API directly — see API reference.
Can Backstage change any setting for me?
No — Backstage can read your agent's overview, data sources, credit usage, and rate limits, and it can rewrite your instructions when you explicitly ask it to. Anything else (adding a source, creating an action, changing a channel) it'll point you to the right tab for, rather than pretending to have done it. See Backstage.
My guardrails field is empty — is that a bug?
No. An empty guardrails section means the agent has no restrictions beyond the model's own built-in safety behavior — it's not a placeholder waiting to be filled by a default policy. See Guardrails for what to put there.
How do I invite a teammate?
From Team, create an invite link and send it yourself — there's no outbound email sending in this environment, so invites aren't emailed automatically.
